**Summary**:
The Lead Artist plays an important role in the team in creating and developing exceptional concepts and visual ideas for all forms of characters, logos, typography, screen layouts, and reel symbols for gaming devices and other gaming products.

This position requires a high level of proficiency in digital illustrations, graphic design, color theory, and general artistic disciplines, with strong attention to detail. Team members in this role will provide game production on all aspects of visual presentation and be expected to work with mínimal supervision.

**What You'll Do**:

- Working under direction from Art-directors and project stakeholders to produce world class illustration with a focus on innovation and creativity.
- Creative excellence: ensure output is on-brand and innovative; attention to detail and deadlines paramount.
- Deliver error free assets on time to a level of functional and aesthetic quality appropriate to the game requirements.
- Maintain excellent file organization and follow established processes for asset creation and management, output configuration, IP and reference material etc.
- Work with game designers, engineers, and senior staff to quickly convert interesting concepts into real-world products.
- Produce top-quality artworks for all aspects of visual presentation including slot machine symbol creation, reels and background, wheels, bonus content, UI, and signage.
- Initiate and/or participate in peer reviews of visual product elements.
- Respond to immediate feedback to produce dynamic changes as needed.
- Identify and propose art production process improvements.
- Keep up to date on the latest developments within the gaming industry.
- Be part of a global team and draw experience from their depth of experience.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Tertiary qualifications in fine art, graphic design or similar
- At least 5 years of professional experience in casino gaming art production and delivery
- Z-brush experience highly regarded.
- Strong PC/Mac skills.
- Excellent understanding of illustration styles and slot art.
- Display initiative to present new ideas.
- High attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Ability to handle competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Actively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction.
- Ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised.
- Developed sense of initiative and creative drive.
- Able to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms.
- Confident to share new ideas and comfortable influencing key stakeholders.
