**Role Overview**

Are you able to create magic where others see only "data"? Can you "wow" stakeholders with impressive visual insights? Do you want to take the next step in your technical leadership journey and make your mark on a flagship product?

Working within our Product Engineering team, you will contribute to the development, direction and growth in the reporting suite of our flagship product, Altus. You’ll work in a collaborative environment to improve and enhance our product, to help organisations evolve their productivity when it comes to project management, work management, business intelligence and reporting. This role offers significant variety where you will participate primarily in a report architectural and development capacity for using the Microsoft Fabric family of tooling, including Power BI, Synapse, Data Factories and Dataverse. You will have knowledge in various areas of report development, particularly focused on the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (such as Power BI, DataFlows and Paginated Reports) and ideally have experience partnering with stakeholders to provide leadership and advice to solve their reporting needs. **Stuff we’ll trust you with**:

- Actively participate in defining the technical architecture and roadmap for Business Intelligence within our product suite / platform
- Understand and seek out the best of Microsoft’s new technology to leverage for our customer base.
- Be our go-to person for all Power BI, reporting and metrics requirements for stakeholders.
- Act as a technical consultant for report design and development needs for our flagship product Altus.
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to stakeholders, by providing them thought leadership and innovative solutions.
- Contribute to research and development activities which add to the growth and functionality of our Altus platform.
- Keep an ‘ear-to-the-ground’ on what the Business Intelligence community is doing, what the latest trends and technology improvements are, and how these might contribute to our product’s success.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the product development team.

- Previous experience (5 years plus) with Power BI.
- Strong SQL Server Reporting Service skills and experience.
- Experience with DAX and PowerQuery M.
- Superior interpersonal skills particularly in the area of internal stakeholder management and engagement.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to develop your technical skills to progress your professional career.
- Desire to be a key part of a team, have some fun and take pride in your work and helping others.

**Highly Desirable - Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Microsoft certifications are highly desirable for this position.
- Tertiary qualifications are highly desirable for this position.
- Demonstrable Product Architecture experience
- Table-tennis skills; even if you don’t play - a willingness to give it a go
