We are seeking an experienced Waste Services Officer for a temporary placement to start as soon as possible up to 30 April 2023

**Waste Services Officer**

Do your part in keeping our community beautiful and earning and income at the same time
The role entails assisting with the project administration of various Waste Services programmes and data reporting of all Waste Services.

**Location: Rockingham**
**Contract Start dates: Immediate start**
**Contract end date: 30th April with possible extension**
**Pay rate: $40 per hour plus super**

**Hours: The position works Monday to Friday up to 38 hours per week**

**The Role**
- The role entails assisting with the project administration of various Waste Services programmes and data reporting of all Waste Services.
- Manage in conjunction with the Manager Waste Services the quarterly Levy reporting to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.
- Assist in the data collection and report preparation, including internal reporting and external stakeholders reporting
- Organise internal and external training for all Waste Services and directed by the Coordinators and/or Manager of Waste Services.
- Procure goods and services in accordance with the company's policies and procedures including developing tender documentation.
- Assist in review of budget income and expenditures and financial management of the facility
- Assist in the creation, development and implementation of policy and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders to promote the Landfill Facility and promote business development.
- Monitor customer service performance at Landfill Services and report and make recommendations on improvements and/or innovations.
- Develop a working knowledge of the weighbridge information system to provide support as required.

**Experience**
- Developed computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound experience in project management/support with demonstrated time management skills.
- Sounds computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office

**Essential**
- National Police Check will be required and a clear drug and alcohol assessment for the successful applicant
