About the Role
Based at Bapcor’s Mt. Waverley Head office with onsite parking and hybrid working, the People Services Advisors work collaboratively and proactively to deliver an exceptional experience across P&C advisory and support for Bapcor’s people. Via a centralised triage system, you will support other P&C functions with the delivery of cyclical, project activity and workforce information with a continuous focus on process improvement and innovation, underpinned by technology.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Provide support to the broader business by answering P&C related queries and redirecting/escalating to the appropriate representative as required.
- Provide advice on Bapcor policies, procedures, and programs to ensure delivery of accurate and timely information to People Leaders and Team Members.
- Provide assistance and guidance on matters including talent acquisition and recruitment processes, health and safety, training and professional development, employee relations and other relevant P&C activities.
- Possess and maintain up to date knowledge across a range of P&C function activities, services and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Bapcor policies, employment laws and regulations.
- Respond to team member queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure documentation of team member interactions, including the nature of the query, the actions taken to resolve the issue and follow up, as required.
- Provide reports, data insights, employee statistics or performance measures to business functions, to support and enable evidenced informed decisions.
About You
This is a service driven environment, where teamwork, initiative and proactivity are key. A natural problem solver by nature, you’ll be able to get to the heart of people related issues and understand the importance of juggling and prioritisation.
- Previous experience in a role such as H.R/P&C administration or coordination, Junior H.R advisor or People Services advisor, with exposure to best practice H.R policies, processes, and procedures.
- Degree in Human Resources or, related field.
- A strong desire to accelerate your career in H.R
- Strong Customer Service orientation.
- The ability to prioritise and maintain attention to detail in an ambiguous environment.
- A desire to contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Sound communication skills, both written and verbal.
