**The opportunity**:
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to play a crucial role in our company's financial success.

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will have day-to-day responsibility and accountability for assisting and completing all aspects of Accounts Receivable, following established performance benchmarks and timelines. Additionally, you may be assigned broader tasks across the finance function, based on your qualifications and experience.

Beyond maintaining base performance levels, you will be expected to critically assess the processes and systems used. Your goal is to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies, greater synergies, lower operating costs, and higher realised revenues. In some cases, you may directly facilitate changes, while in others, you'll escalate to the Finance Business Partner for support.

Working closely with colleagues in the finance team, you must have a personable character to foster constructive working relationships. Your role will involve engagement with patients, hospitals, pathologies, and third-party collection agents. While maintaining our company's brand and reputation, you'll also aim to maximize collections for all completed tests.

**Your responsibilities include**:
Generating invoices and sending to customers
Addressing patient queries as an answer point for inbound calls
Generating customer statements and sending to customers
Receipting incoming payments of invoices via EFT into Accounting Software (SAP)
Importing and validating into SAP payments made through BPay or online

**About you**:
Strong computer skills specifically with microsoft excel
Knowledge of SAP payroll and SAP B1 in a similar / related field will be an advantage
Excveptional communications skills with the ability to liaise with people accross the insititute
Well developed problem-solving and time management skills
Tertiary qualification in business or equivalent is desired
