As a Communications Specialist within our esteemed tier 2 commercial construction company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communications strategies. Based at our Brisbane headquarters, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful messaging across internal and external channels. This position presents a unique opportunity for experienced communications professionals to contribute their expertise to a thriving construction environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Content Development and Management:

- Craft compelling and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including project case studies, press releases, newsletters, website materials, and social media posts.

Maintain and curate content repositories, ensuring accurate and up-to-date materials are readily accessible.

Strategic Communication:

- Develop and execute communication plans for projects, initiatives, and corporate announcements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.

Identify opportunities for thought leadership and proactive engagement to enhance the company's industry presence.

Digital and Social Media Management:

- Manage and maintain our social media platforms, including content scheduling, engagement monitoring, and performance analysis.

Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and impactful graphics and multimedia content.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry organizations, and the media.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Brand Consistency:

- Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines and messaging across all communication materials.

Uphold the company's tone of voice and visual identity to maintain a cohesive and professional image.

Internal Communication:

- Collaborate with internal departments to communicate strategic initiatives, updates, and relevant information to employees.

Support leadership in creating transparent and informative internal communications.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Proven experience in a communications role - 3+ years experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to create persuasive and effective content across various channels.

Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and platforms, including content management systems, social media schedulers, and analytics tools.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Networking skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of the construction industry and an understanding of technical terminology is an advantage.
