**How this opportunity is different**
This team is impacting new business growth and helping redefine how companies and clients deal with insurance online.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Expand the portfolio of new client relationships and increase revenue across existing client base
- Achieve personal and team sales targets on small to moderate size, accounts within identified markets -working to clear KPI’s and targets through managing inbound/outbound calls with customers and digital new business opportunities
- Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
- Advocate for customers through best practice and insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome for customers
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed prospects and client expectations
- Partner with external insurer stakeholders to build a strong solution network to exceed client expectations
- Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
- Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
- Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations
- Participate in self training and coaching sessions to keep knowledge up to date
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Experience in Insurance sales, prospecting and relationship management, strong broking background
- Relevant technical and product knowledge
- Diploma of Insurance / Insurance Broking (desired)
- RG146 Tier 1 compliance (required)
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets
- Experience using software programs or systems that might include MS Excel and Outlook
- Experience using Salesforce in a sales environment (desired)
- Experience identifying target markets to drive sustainable growth (desired)
- Experience in placing complex SME and Micro-SME placements (desired)
- Problem solving skills
