**The role**:
You will be responsible for reviewing and issuing of permits and ensuring conformance of on-site activities with controls nominated by the relevant Utility Authorities
**Your impact**:
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ management systems relevant to services and utilities for all construction activities undertaken
**Your every day**:
- Review of all Ground Penetration Permits ensuring:
- All known assets are identified, present on the permit and their depth/location is correct
- The controls for all assets are correct and applicable
- Review to ensure that methodology outlined on the Ground Penetration Permits are able to be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of Utility Authorities
- Confirm that all known assets have been positively identified
- Undertake full site walk through with work crew on first issue to adequately convey the location of all services and the controls relevant to each service.
- Undertake daily audits of ground penetration permit conformance/ adherence/ implementation
- Manage register of permits, ensuring up to date permits are available at all times
- Liaise with Utility Authorities to ensure all relevant permits (e.g. VESI) and DBYD plans are available, and up to date.
Who are you?
- A construction or civil engineering qualification
- a minimum 5 years experience working around live utility services
- technical knowledge to identify and communicate relevant utility service provider duty of care requirements
- demonstrated ability to interpret construction and engineering plans and specifications.
- Stakeholder Management skills
- A proven track record of assisting project delivery
