Picker/packer

**What will I contribute?**

You'll undertake picking & packing activities for the preparation customer orders in accordance with Company safety, efficiency, quality and hygiene standards to achieve DIFOTQ.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

- Picking and replenishing stock
- Packing and labelling customer orders ensuring these are accurate and prepared within the required timeframe.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Rotate stock on a first in first out basis.
- Monitor and identify any shortage of stock to the Supervisor.
- Operate a forklift to arrange stock and pallets and move finished orders to cold room storage as required.
- Perform duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP standards
- Undertake required pick & pack compliance checks.
- Accurately complete outgoing product and product movement documentation
- Comply with all Company and legislative workplace health & safety requirements.
- Provide basic work instruction (ie training), as required, to labour hire picker packers.
- Report safety hazards

The role is based at Homebush, Sydney with free on-site parking and easy access to public transport.

**What do I need for the role?**

We're looking for people with:

- Current Forklift Licence
- Picking and packing experience preferred in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in the FMCG or fresh produce industry would be highly regarded.
- Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP hazards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to comply with Company policy and procedures.
- Commitment to WH&S.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
