What will you do?

At Aurecon we are committed to future energy. We work with clients who are active across the full spectrum of the energy supply chain. As such, we are in a unique position that touches each of the elements that impact the transition to a lower carbon economy and the potential of hydrogen in the context of a National Hydrogen Strategy. The production and supply of many minerals and metals has a significant role in the delivery of the energy transition.

What can you bring to the team?- Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.- Tertiary qualification in chemical engineering or metallurgy and a chartered professional.- Lead the Process Engineering Practice whilst growing the team and building capability in WA + NT regions.- Minimum of 15 years of design experience.- Experience in designing minerals processing units for multiple commodities preferred- Ability to lead or direct feasibility studies, business cases, FEED and detailed designs for projects utilising multi-discipline design teams including client personnel across a multitude of market sectors across Asia Pacific including (but not limited to):
- Mineral extraction and processing-
- Hydrogen and Ammonia-
- Industrial Chemicals-
- Experienced in creating process design deliverables and calculations (e.g. PFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, hydraulic modelling, pipe and load lists etc) and use of process plant simulation software (e.g. SysCAD, Metsim, HYSYS, PetroSIM)- Has participated in safety workshops such as Design Reviews, HAZID, HAZOP and SIL allocation. Having facilitated these workshops is advantageous.- Excellent team player with keen attention to details and sound problem solving and analytical skills- Has a clear and strong grasp of the engineering process taking projects through from Concept through to Delivery.Our
