Prodigy Enterprises Pty. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Hostel Manager to cover a vacancy in one of our properties (Downtown Backpackers Hostel).

About the role:

- Full-time job, working 5 days a week.
- Managing the day to day operation of the property and its departments (reception, reservations, housekeeping, maintenance).
- Hiring and training of new staff.
- Evaluating and responding to customer feedback.
- Supervising admin, purchasin and accounting operations.
- Explaining and ensuring compliance with OHS regulations.
- Overseeing and setting groundskeeping and security arrangements.
- Supplying tourism information when required to guests.

About you:

- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organisational ability and an eye for detail.
- You must be passionate about tourism, friendly and sociable.
- Strong leadership background.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
