IT Finance Analyst

**IT Business/ Finance Analyst**

- Business Analysis experience - working on/gathering systems change requirements
- Our client a leading Australian brand who are in growth phase is looking for a Business Analyst with experience of IT finance projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and managing the IT budget and forecast, including preparation for end-of-fiscal-year (EOFY) activities and monthly reporting.
- Ensuring alignment between the IT budget and forecast, and identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Managing procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, monitoring and reporting on anomalies, and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Conducting business analysis activities, collaborating with other business areas to gather requirements for systems changes.
- Developing relationships with various departments within the organization to understand their IT budget and procurement needs.
- Conducting testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.

**Experience required**:

- Strong experience in IT budget management, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proven track record in procurement management, including purchase order processing and vendor management.
- Business analysis experience is a plus, particularly in gathering requirements for systems changes.
- Testing experience, including UAT, is ideal.
- Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
- Background in finance, with knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Experience in forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Ability to raise purchase orders and match them to invoices.
- Familiarity with financial reporting/management systems/tools.
