IT Business/ Finance Analyst

Permanent | Hybrid | Sydney
Experience in financial aspects of IT budgeting and procurement processes
Business Analysis experience working on/gathering systems change requirements
Our client a leading Australian brand who are in growth phase is looking for a Business Analyst with experience of IT finance projects.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing the IT budget and forecast, including preparation for endoffiscalyear (EOFY) activities and monthly reporting.
Ensuring alignment between the IT budget and forecast, and identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
Managing procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, monitoring and reporting on anomalies, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Conducting business analysis activities, collaborating with other business areas to gather requirements for systems changes.
Developing relationships with various departments within the organization to understand their IT budget and procurement needs.
Conducting testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.

Experience required:

Strong experience in IT budget management, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Proven track record in procurement management, including purchase order processing and vendor management.
Business analysis experience is a plus, particularly in gathering requirements for systems changes.
Testing experience, including UAT, is ideal.
Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
Background in finance, with knowledge of accounts payable processes.
Experience in forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting.
Ability to raise purchase orders and match them to invoices.
Familiarity with financial reporting/management systems/tools.
