**About the role**

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant Brand Manager looking to step up into a fantastic Brand Manager position, or an experienced Brand Manager looking for a challenge, and to take full ownership of the brand execution.

As Brand Manager, you will act as the planner, initiator and evaluator necessary for the accomplishment of the various objectives across successful introduction, marketing and sale of products, and the continuous review and analysis to assure continued overall profitable growth and market penetration.

**Key responsibilities**
- Prepare marketing plans for key brands
- Identify product positioning based on analysis of existing products in the market
- Identify strategies for product launches and opportunities for NPD
- Write briefs for external agencies and manage projects
- Manage the creative process for the development of advertising materials
- Manage A&P budget, brand P&L
- Manage creative process for development of materials
- Evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising programmes
- Review the sales performance of products
- Prepare and analyse product profitability
- Liaise with the agency on developing/maintaining social media accounts.

**What you need to be successful**
- A caring and positive attitude/mindset balancing a nurturing and collaborative approach to hitting key business and brand objectives
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business or similar
- A proven track record as either a highly successful Assistant Brand Manager or a Brand Manager striving for an exciting new challenge
- A background in OTC/FMCG preferred but not essential
- An adaptable and flexible nature and ability to influence key stakeholders to enjoy positive business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and project management skills are an absolute must in this fun and fast paced role
