This is an exciting Position for a Senior Property Lawyer (5 -7 years + PQE) who has a track record of overseeing multimillion-dollar property development projects. The role is a permanent full-time position and you will be based in a stunning Bondi Junction head office.

**About the Group**:

- Their flagship project is a 365-hectare South West Sydney development which will see a long-term build of warehousing, logistics facilities, hotels, retail, building supply outlets and an exhibition centre.
- They specialise in Warehousing, and logistics and are also building hotels, retail and exhibition centres.
- Working alongside a bright and friendly General Counsel, they seek a Senior Property Development Lawyer to manage the project and liaise with external law firms.

**About the Position**:
From a technical perspective, this role will be responsible for all construction contracts and consultancy agreements for the business, including overseeing the appointment and management of external lawyers. You will also have the opportunity to run the entire project development life-cycle for individual projects: from leading the initial legal due diligence process on new site acquisitions, oversight of project finance, structuring, and construction, right through to completion - as well as providing day-to-day legal advice for general commercial matters.

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals with backgrounds in architecture, design, engineering, consulting, finance and onsite building. To be effective in this role we need someone who is a great communicator with a commercial mindset to provide options, talk through scenarios and give recommendations, not just legal answers.

**Requirements**:

- We are looking for a lawyer with 5-7years PQE
- Experience with construction contracting and consultancy agreements is essential.
- A background in the property development sector is preferable, but we are happy to consider applicants from an infrastructure background looking to move into the building sector.
