**The Opportunity**
The Scrum Master is a specialist role that will ensure that HBF’s Transformation squads work in a fast, sustainable and effective manner to achieve the definition of done and deliver high quality outputs. Although it does not have any direct reports, this hybrid role is accountable for Servant Leadership of a cross-functional or multi-disciplinary Agile delivery team or “squad” to enable them to deliver agreed business outcomes. This position will be offered on a 6m Basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to help HBF evolve to the next level when it comes to Agile. It is still relatively new operating model for the organisation and there are ample opportunities to make a real impact.

**About You**
The Scrum Master:

- Is responsible for ensuring that the squad lives by the values, behaviours and practices of Agile/scrum;
- Coaches the team, helping them to perform at their highest level and do the best work it possibly can; encouraging continuous improvement and growth
- Ensures delivery of product improvements/functionality to the business frequently in an iterative manner in line with Agile principals
- Works with Agile Coaches and other Scrum Masters to share best practice across the Tribe and navigate dependencies with other squads
- Removes any impediments to progress, reporting progress, facilitate meetings and working with Product Owners / Pod leads to make sure the product backlog is well maintained and ready to be worked on while minimising excess work in progress.
