We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options.

**About the role**

This role will partner with key stakeholders to deliver essential financial information, insights, analysis, and tools to support the attainment of financial goals and drive operational enhancements.

**About you**

As a Finance Business Partner you will:

- Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer on change initiatives including system implementation and related business process improvements, shared service reforms, organisational rearrangements including Machinery of Government and Cluster changes.
- Coordinate preparation of briefing papers and other submissions to the Executive, the Cluster, the Minister’s Office and NSW Treasury.
- Provide assistance on the development, and implementation of financial transactions improvement projects and new shared services model in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.
- Partner with business units to establish business process improvements and develop budget and forecast insights.
- Participate in the review of internal processes to identify areas for improvements and coordinate the implementation of audit recommendations and reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee.
- Contribute to the development, review and update of Finance policies and procedures.
- Participate in system implementation projects to ensure the system solutions meet OoS requirements and the interface/integration of business systems are successfully implemented.
- Provide training and support to new and existing staff in finance procedures and processes as required.

**Essential Requirements**
- Qualification in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- National Criminal Records Check
