**Hours**:Casual (multiple positions available)

**Location**:Safe Haven, 10 Church Street, Salisbury SA 5108

**About the Role**:
The Peer Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Safe Haven team and will utilize their personal experience of mental illness to engage with clients. The Peer Practitioner will draw from a strengths-based recovery orientated service of care and act as a role model towards recovery for people experiencing mental illness.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Has experienced mental illness and has demonstrable experience of recovery.
- has previous work experience in administrative roles and has had experience with using databases and computer systems.
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast paced environment.

**Qualification and Other Requirements**:

- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft Suite of software and databases.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or currently completing or a willingness to complete.
