**About the role**
- This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project with a social impact. Our client is currently seeking a Protective Security Incident Management Analyst to join their team.The role is within the Protective Security Operations Section (PSOS) and will work with key stakeholders internally and externally in the department. PSOS is responsible for the day-to-day management of security arrangements and provides risk, policy, and governance advice to ensure the effective management of security risk and practices for the department's people, information and assets.We are looking for someone who is willing to make a big impact and be equipped with good ideas to benefit the project and the team in the right way.**Location: ACT**

**Daily Rate: Negotiable depending on skills and experience.**

**Working arrangement: Minimum 3 full days per week in the office (or as applicable to your specific work order).**

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Security incident management plan (roles and responsibilities, communications plan)
- Incident management plan on a page
- Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs)
- Security incident templates
- Summary plan template
- Communication template
- Lessons learnt template
- Senior Executive response plan
- Senior Executive engagement and sponsorship model
- Maturity modelling pathways

- Departmental Security essential training (internal personnel training and awareness package)

**Skills Required**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of protective (excluding cyber) security incident management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in security incident management
- Working knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Australian New Zealand Counter-Terrorism Committee (ANZCTC) governance and policies.
- Certification and/or membership to relevant professional organisations including certification in any of the following: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Associate Protection Professional (APP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
