**About the Role**

Reporting to the Manager: Exams and Results, you will be responsible for the leadership, management and mentoring of the Exams and Results team. You will lead and support the resolution of complex problems referred from Academic Units, coordinate the delivery of exams and results processes to mitigate potential risks to the student experience and University reputation and will monitor and evaluate service indicators for further development and improvement.

**About Student and Academic Services**

The Student and Academic Services (SAS) provides senior leadership in student and academic administration in a distributed service environment. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks. The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions including student admissions, enrolments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coordination and work planning, and the ability to motivate a high performing team with exceptional customer service experience
- High-level interpersonal and negotiation skills including experience in building and managing effective stakeholder relationships and providing expert advice and recommendations to all levels of an organisation
- Demonstrated highly developed problem-solving skills and analytical thinking including the ability to be innovative in identifying solutions and process improvement
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including experience in interpreting data, preparing high level reports and providing training
- Demonstrated ability to implement change and the ability to respond positively to a changing work environment
