JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

**Salary**: $65000 to $80000 per annum

About the company: Fabinox is a solid and respected company doing great and innovative things in the Sydney market. We deliver various Fit out/Refurb Fabrication projects to a high standard for a repeat-client base and are striving toward some big and exciting years ahead.

The Company is seeking a confident, Junior Quantity Surveyor who will be working alongside the Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Operations staff. This role would suit someone with a background in Quantity Surveying who has worked their way through the ranks and has a sound knowledge and understanding involved in delivering projects on time and on budget.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be providing planning and scheduling support and act as the interface between the project delivery teams and Fabinox clients.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reading and understanding drawings

Assist in pricing of estimates and cost plans

Completion of simple trade and elemental take-off

Measuring quantities for variations

Undertake site visit and assist in completing valuations of work complete on site

Assist in preparing cash flows

Assist in amending/ updating Cost Reports

Writing of monthly reports

Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies

Review of contract terms and conditions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar is desirable.

CAD, Navisoworks, Bluebeam, PDF, and/ or other quantity take-off software experience is essential.

At least 2 years commercial experience

Previous experience in a professional working environment.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent Computer & Microsoft suite proficiencies.

Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills.

Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
Ability to work in a team and independently.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
