**About the role**

The purpose of this role is to work in collaboration with and support the Coordinator Strategic Investments and Property to identify, manage and deliver a broad range of development and income opportunities that align with Council’s Land and Property Strategy, which will contribute to the establishment of a self-funded council for our future Community.

Specifically, the position will have responsibility to assist in the development and detailing of comprehensive business cases, including preparation of feasibility analyses and implementing the endorsed actions.

**Remuneration**

$131,493.44 - $140,635.04 + 11.5% Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in land or property economics, architecture or planning, commercial property development or similar, or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience in both government and private enterprise.
- Experience in dealing with diverse property portfolios and asset classes, including the components of leases and licences, variations, novations, land classifications and zonings, property valuations and coordinating due diligence activities associated with land development opportunities, including knowledge of and practical experience with Crown Lands transactions and management (eg. care, control and management agreements), easements and land transfers.
- Exposure to identifying, developing and/or implementing development and sustainable income generating opportunities based on highest-and-best yields and ESG principles.
- Demonstrated financial management and budgetary experience including variance reporting and remedial action pathways.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in project management, contract management and key stakeholder management especially in relationship building.
- Class C NSW Driver’s Licence.
