**About the Team and Role**

Group Risk encompasses Group Operational Risk, Group Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crimes, Risk Governance, Financial Risk and Modelling, and Credit Risk Management.

The **Agri Asset Management** Unit is part of Credit Risk Management and actively engages with our agri customers experiencing financial difficulty with the intention of identifying acceptable solutions and strengthening our long-term relationship, whilst being prepared to act decisively where necessary to safeguard customer and shareholder interests.

Our priorities are to provide our customers with every reasonable opportunity to preserve their loan, their equity and any underlying security; and to minimise and mitigate customer and Bank shareholder loss.

As **Manager Asset Management** and reporting directly to Head of Agri Asset Management you are responsible for direct management of workout scenarios with the aim to deliver a commercially viable outcome that does not expose the Bank to unacceptable levels of risk and assume direct relationship responsibility for a mix of complex and noncomplex files.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Build customer relationships and provide superior customer service based on courteous and professional conduct and legislation / code compliance
- Identify loans which are displaying early warning signs, effectively gather information and validate
- Problem solve, analyse information and develop strategies which balance Bank and customer outcomes
- Provide genuine and objective consideration of the facts of each individual case
- Be purposeful and fair in terms of the arrangements and timelines we agree with our customers
- Coordinate and attend Farm Debt Mediation where appropriate and progressing with legal action when deemed necessary

**Ideally this opportunity will be located at one of our corporate offices either in Adelaide, Melbourne or Bendigo and we offer a flexible work arrangement with an expectation you are in the office at least two days per week.**

**To be successful you will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications and certificates in the relevant degree is preferred
- Deep knowledge and experience within the Agribusiness sector is mandatory
- Extensive Credit knowledge with particular experience in Agri credit
- Experience in risk and compliance management and delivery of risk and compliance management outcomes.
- Experience with Farm Debt Mediation and/or engaging with Rural Financial Counsellors.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
