**About the Role**
The Manager, Student Employability will be a key role in connecting students to industry, preparing them for their careers post-study. This role will develop, implement, evaluate and improve strategies and initiatives that support curricular and co-curricular employability, experiential learning activities, and global skills development, while also leading industry engagement for student employability. There will be a strong focus on how to progress and develop the current student employability program. The Manager will lead a team of experts and collaborate with academic and professional staff across the faculty, as well as with the Global Leadership and Employability teams in Student Administration and Scholarly Services, to provide an integrated service offering.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage and deliver a first-class employability program through leading, integrating, and providing strategic and operational advice relating to the delivery of employability and industry engagement functions
- Design, deliver and evaluate student services standards and other performance targets ensuring that employability and global skills programs contribute effectively to meeting relevant Faculty and University targets

**Who we are looking for**
We are seeking a high performer with experience in the employability programs within a tertiary environment. You should be able to develop and implement both strategic and operation plans, and provide high level advice to a range of clients based on these plans. You are familiar with contemporary initiatives in the employability space, and are able to implement them successfully in to practice. You have a strong eye for continuous improvement, incorporating it in to your day to day practices to improve process efficiency where possible. You will have excellent relationship management skills, with a record of developing strong, productive relationships with stakeholders within and external to the organisation.

You will also have:

- Postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Proven management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff to work with a student-centred and industry-responsive orientation, including during periods of program evolution and change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
