**About the Opportunity**
- Permanent, Fulltime - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $119,701.82 - $138,692.65 per annum plus 11% superannuation plus car allowance
- Conveniently located in Hurstville CBD (5-minute walk from train station)

**The Role**
- Manage the implementation of Technology standards, policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with Council direction, legislative and legal requirements.
- Manage the installation, support and maintenance of technical infrastructure.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets utilising ITAM principles ISO 19770.
- Support the provision of training for Council staff in the use of digital resources as required.
- Manage and support the team in the successful broadcasting of council meetings to the public as required.
- Manage the IMT Help Desk to provide efficient and accurate resolution of all problems within agreed time frames.
- Conduct Research and Development relating to upgrades, maintenance and other enhancement of infrastructure and information security capabilities.
- Participate in the development of Business Continuity and Disaster recovery plans and operational procedures.
- Effectively manage budgetary spending for the Technology department.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline e.g., Information Technology (or similar discipline) or extensive relevant work experience.

***Knowledge and Skills**
- Demonstrated ability in IT lifecycle asset management utilising ITAM principles ISO 19770.
- Demonstrated ability in Information Security utilising ISO 27001 principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organise and supervise staff to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement which results in positive change.
