In this role, you will own the resources responsible for configuring and deploying all network infrastructure in new AWS data centers. This leader will drive the strategy to innovate and optimize our new deployments while instilling the highest level of operational excellence in tools and processes. The mission of the team is to deliver network capacity on time with zero rework.
This leader will be integral to the wider infrastructure management senior leadership team, collaborating with our engineering and operations teams on new solutions and designs. They will own all aspects of people management.

8+ years in a data center technology role Experience with building physical data center such as copper/fiber cabling Experience developing operational metrics to drive efficiencies Experience representing your team/technical area to senior management Experience in contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an deployment/build environment Experience with lean methodologies and Six-Sigma or similar qualification Organizational and planning skills Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies installation and design Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
