**The Role**

The Program Quality and Effectiveness (PQE) Advisor works in close collaboration with Oxfam colleagues in Australia and internationally, to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of Oxfam Australia programs through:

- Ensuring that program quality standards are understood and effectively applied in the design and delivery of projects Ensuring programs are supported by rigorous monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and social accountability mechanisms;
- Supporting program learning, including high quality evaluations, that contribute to Oxfam’s understanding of how change happens and the best way to achieve it;
- Contributing to a culture and practice of inquisitiveness and reflection that advances knowledge of how Oxfam and others contribute to creating lasting solutions to the injustice of poverty.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated high-level understanding of and experience in program design, monitoring and evaluation, and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and communicate complex data and knowledge to a range of audiences.
- Experience in supporting program and peer learning in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
- Demonstrated understanding of a broad range of international development, humanitarian and inequality issues, including strong knowledge of gender and diversity.

**We can offer you**

A base salary of $111,566.07 plus superannuation, superior leave benefits and access to generous non-for-profit salary packaging program **(up to $18,450 of your salary tax-free)**.**
