**About Us**:
The Finance and Procurement business unit provides department-wide financial, procurement and workplace services through strategic leadership and setting the direction, policy, and processes, and partnering with the department to build capability. Procurement and Property Services monitors and reports on procurement performance and manages several high-profile strategic projects to minimise procurement risk and support the delivery of value for money. It is also responsible for the effective operation and management of asset maintenance, fleet and property, and facilities management services across the department.

**About the Role**:
The role is part of a team of Business Partners embedded within Group Finance and actively promotes a service ethos across Finance and Procurement, working towards tailoring services to deliver on the needs of the business. The role promotes constructive collaboration between business areas and Finance and Procurement to facilitate a partnership approach to service delivery.

Some of your duties will include:

- Under guidance and direction from the Manager, Business Engagement, promoting a culture within the division centring on Finance and Procurement staff at all levels.
- Providing authoritative advice and guidance to stakeholders in relation to procurement and property services, while maintaining a strong customer focus and considering Business Unit goals.
- Developing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with stakeholders within the Group and within the department, providing linkages between the service providers and service users.

**About You**:

- Procurement Expertise: Demonstrated experience delivery end-to-end procurement activity in a regulated environment and experience in providing authoritative procurement advice to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Stakeholder engagement: Identify and partner with stakeholders to ensure active collaboration in the design process to understand user needs, obtaining ideas, insights and input.
- Business Partnership: Work with stakeholders/users to build prototypes and coordinate testing to validate the strategy, program or product.
- Qualifications:_
- A tertiary qualification in business administration, procurement or policy is highly desirable.
- Professional experience or an understanding of government procurement and policies is highly desirable.
