**About the Role**:
TAFE Gippsland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Contract Manager to join the team. In this role, you will provide expert advice, recommendations, and directions on a range of procurement activities and approaches to market, including tenders, whilst developing, maintaining, and communicating procurement governance expertise. You will also lead and contribute to procurement initiatives, managing the commercial and legal aspects of the procurement process, including contract preparation, negotiation, and execution.

**Key Skills**:

- A relevant bachelor level or higher qualification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of procurement, purchasing and contract management processes with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working within procurement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts and commercial relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate complex contractual negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
