**About the Role**:
The Green Adelaide Branch, Department for Environment and Water, provides support to the Green Adelaide Board and seeks to facilitate and deliver the Board's Business Plan. The Board is established by the Minister for Environment and Water under the Landscapes SA Act 2019 and seeks to create Adelaide as a cool, green and water-sensitive city that encourages engagement with the natural environment from the urban community of 1.3 million people. Green Adelaide delivers a "hills to sea" integrated catchment approach to promote the biodiversity, coastal values, nature-connectedness and sustainable use of water resources across the metropolitan area. Partnerships and collaboration with all levels of government and non-government organisations, the community and Kaurna is at the heart of delivering the programs of Green Adelaide.

The Team Leader, Planning provides leadership, specialist expertise and guidance in the management and development of the team, responsible for regional landscape planning within the Green Adelaide Region. This includes developing sound project briefs and work plans, for the development, operationalisation, review and continuous improvement of the Green Adelaide Plan and other supporting documents, implementing risk management strategies and monitoring and evaluating project outcomes. They are responsible for contributing to the Green Adelaide Board's Regional Landscape Plan and Annual Business Plan by providing high level expert technical advice, also project manage the development and implementation of a planning framework for the Board that encompasses contemporary best-practice and meets community and State Government requirements.

The Team Leader coordinates and supports a range of policy and planning activities across the region that includes landscape planning and statutory development planning. They develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enable effective outcomes for natural resource management planning in the region.

**Essential Qualifications**:
Tertiary or post-graduate qualification in the Statutory Planning, Environmental Planning or NRM disciplines.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class “C" driver's licence
- Inter and intrastate and remote area travel may be required.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.

**Remuneration**:
PO4, $110,696 min - $120,470 max p.a.
