**Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job**:
The position of the GM Delivery Partners s is responsible for the overall governance of in excess of 1,500 Team Global Express road subcontractor provider relationships to support the direction of the TGE network strategy.

Exercising excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across the organisation, this position encompasses responsibility for ensuring consistent sourcing and onboarding arrangements, contractual and commercial terms, and ongoing compliance and communication, and offboarding of subcontractors.

Working with Functional and Divisional operational teams across the TGE network, this position is pivotal to enforcing TGE compliance standards, delivering commercial efficiencies and service reliability, and engaging subcontractors to reinforce TGE safety, cultural and service delivery expectations.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide the overall strategic plan for subcontractor engagement, including the development and implementation of a short & long-term subcontractor strategy, in line with Divisional requirements and broader TGE strategy
- Managing the sourcing, selection, onboarding and contract generation and review process for all road subcontractors (other than Courier)
- In conjunction with Divisional leadership teams, o versee subcontractor workforce mix in line with TGE strategy, including approval of all new and replacement subcontractor resources, as well as partnering the business to manage seasonal peaks and troughs and business interruption plans
- In conjunction with Corporate and Divisional teams, review subcontractor commercial terms and incentive programs, including rate negotiation and variations (e.g. fuel surcharges) across TGE
- Manage services provided to TGE by linehaul subcontractors, from national providers to smaller operators, ensuring contactors provide the appropriate service and provide the correct equipment to TGE in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to improve operational, customer, cultural and safety performance, including leading national subcontractor forums
- Manage subcontractor education and change management processes across TGE to ensure alignment to TGE strategy (e.g. customer service, policies, safety, technology, communications)
- Reviewing the commercial terms of subcontractor contracts in conjunction with Group Legal and ensure that all commercial reviews and responsibilities are carried out
- Own, govern and maintain the data integrity of contractor details within the Avetta assurance tool and address non-compliance
- In conjunction with Integrated Services pay and pricing governances processes, ensure subcontractor services are being provided in line with the agreed pricing system and rate card
- Manage the investigation process for performance concerns or incidents in relation to Fleet Operator subcontractor performance or compliance
- Generate reporting and business analytics to monitor and control subcontractor activities
- Identify opportunities for improvement in subcontractor management and reporting, and be willing and able to implement new initiatives to improve performance
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support tender / bid processes
