**About the Role**

The Curriculum Writer Aboriginal Contexts develops high quality resources aligned to the curriculum, to support teachers to include SA Aboriginal knowledges in their learning design.
These teaching and learning resources are informed by SA Aboriginal Nations, Aboriginal Knowledge Holders, research, and cultural materials.
Whilst currently this initiative is developing teaching and learning resources for Science and HASS (Deep Time History), there are opportunities for this role to develop resources for additional learning areas into the future.

**Qualifications**

Essential: Current full teacher registration or able to be registered to teach in South Australia.

**Special Conditions**

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**

STL2: $126,217 per annum plus superannuation.
