**About the Role**
CareSouth have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator in a full time, permanent capacity. The role will be based in our Nowra office but will oversee our facilities predominantly in the Shoalhaven and Batemans Bay areas, and look to supporting the Illawarra, and Goulburn region as required. Regular travel will be required, and a fully maintained vehicle is included as part of your remuneration package.
You’ll be the first point of contact for staff through the maintenance ticketing system and will be responsible for the co-ordination and scheduling of all repairs and maintenance work involved across the region. You'll work closely with the team, and our Leaders. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment, and you'll love to navigate and solve problems utilising a collaborative approach.
The Maintenance Co-ordinator will work closely with the Assets & Infrastructure Manager and will ensure all maintenance jobs are responded to and completed in a timely manner and to high standards.

- Manage end to end maintenance of CareSouth facilities in your region.
**The successful applicant will have**:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability.
- Previous experience working together and supervising contractors.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding WHS requirements including the ability to undertake risk assessments to eliminate workplace hazards and worked in an environment with safe work systems in place.
- Ability to work independently, be highly organised and a team player.
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
- Working knowledge in Hard Facilities Maintenance Services (Electrical, Fire, Plumbing, Airconditioning).
- Experience in carrying out general handyperson services (painting, gyprock, tap washer replacement, gardening, mowing etc).
- Hold a current white card and drivers’ licence.
- Willing to obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance and/or (ACT) Working with Vulnerable People Card and undergo a National Police Check.
