**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
The Faculty of Building, Construction Design and Electrotechnology provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The Electrical and Engineering department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Education Manager to provide educational leadership and support the department’s strategic planning, operational management and business development processes to ensure that departmental service targets are achieved.
In your position, you'll be responsible for orchestrating, inspiring, and overseeing a team comprised of both teaching and non-teaching professionals. Together, you'll ensure the effective delivery of VET courses spanning from Certificate II to IV in Engineering Studies and Fabrication Trade.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven capability to lead, motivate, and manage a team towards organisational and educational goals, maintaining budget constraints and ensuring efficient expenditure.
- Previous experience as an education manager highly regarded.
- Sound educational background with high level interpersonal, organisational, management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, and the development and maintenance of compliance documentation for ASQA, funding and regulatory authorities.
- Approved relevant industry experience and the ability to demonstrate currency in vocational workplace competencies.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
