Position Summary:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Store Operations**:
Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Ensure proper stocking, organization, and display of Indian grocery products.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.

Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.

**Customer Service**:
Train and lead a customer-focused team to deliver exceptional service.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Foster a welcoming and culturally sensitive shopping environment for diverse customer demographics.

**Sales and Financial Management**:
Set and achieve sales targets while maximizing profitability.

Analyze sales data and implement strategies to boost revenue and reduce costs.

Manage cash handling, financial transactions, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

**Staff Management**:
Recruit, train, and develop a knowledgeable and efficient team.

Schedule staff effectively to meet operational requirements.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Implement security measures to prevent theft and maintain a safe shopping environment.

**Vendor Relations**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.

Negotiate terms, discounts, and promotions to optimize product procurement.

**Marketing and Promotions**:
Develop and implement promotional campaigns.

Utilize social media and other channels to engage with the local community and drive foot traffic.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.

Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a Store Manager in the retail sector, with a focus on Indian grocery products.

Strong understanding of Indian food products, cultural preferences, and market trends.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systems.

Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards.

**Salary**: $47,264.95 - $77,826.62 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
