- The AFL Record is the official matchday publication of the Australian Football League (AFL) and is a staple for footy fans all over the country._
- It’s been that way since the Record was first produced in 1912 when the League introduced numbers on the back of players’ guernseys. The Record listed players in guernsey number order so that fans could easily identify them._
- Today’s Record looks a lot different, but it still carries many of the traditions that make it the biggest selling matchday program in the country._

In your capacity as an AFL Records Sales Supervisor, you will work closely with Spark’s Staffing Coordinators and Account Managers. You will be leading a team of Record Sellers to meet and exceed sales targets at AFL games across the season.
- Duties:_

Lead and manage a team of 3 -30 Record Sellers to meet and exceed sales targets.

Provide coaching, support and training to Record Sellers at each event to improve performance. Targeting new starters and underperforming staff. This will involve pre-game demonstrations and on-the-job coaching.

Willing to learn the product and trial successful selling techniques.

Take ownership of your team and help to build a community among Record Sellers.

Point of contact and escalation point for any issues faced by your team during an event.

Responsible for onsite relationships with venue management, venue security, SEN representatives and the wider Spark team.

Responsible for all stock and logistics at each event

You will be tasked with post-event reporting including; stocktake, settling POS machines, staff timesheets and feedback after each event

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Knowledge of sales techniques and best practices
- Experience managing workforce
- At least 2 years working in the event, customer service or sales industry.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- A strong understanding of the AFL landscape
- Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
- Confidence in speaking in front of large crowds and motivating a team
- Understanding the sales process
- A no fuss, positive attitude

**KEY STAKEHOLDERS**

Internal: Account Manager/s

Staffing Manager and Coordinator/s

External: Sports Entertainment Network (SEN)

Australian Football League (AFL)

Event Facilities and/or Venues

Casual Staff

**Key Tasks/KPIs**
- Coordinate the on-site delivery of workforce operations planning, including deployment and training processes.
- Sales targets are being met
- Ensure all reporting is completed in full prior to finishing your shift.
- Record Sellers are selling correctly, understand the product and are dressed correctly
- Ensure all Record Sellers are enjoying shifts and want to return to work.

**Availability**
- 4-6 hour shifts
- Thursdays - Sundays

**Remuneration**
- Hourly pay rate
- Commission incentives awarded for hitting sales targets
- All shifts finish between 1/4 and 1/2 time - you will be able to head in and watch any AFL game you have been working at

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $31.46 - $42.45 per hour
