**Salary: $** **93,295.00 - $** **102,941.00pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.**

**Your role**

Are you passionate about corrections and keen to contribute to inmate management in one of NSW's largest correctional centres? As a Classification and Placement Officer, you will play a key role in the classification and placement of inmates across the CSNSW network. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the justice system, ensuring efficient placement that enhances both inmate management and rehabilitation efforts.

**What you’ll do**

Working as part of the Classification and Placement Team at MRRC, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the classification and placement of inmates. You will:

- Provide expert advice on classification and placement procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Analyse detailed inmate data and generate essential reports to support accurate decision-making.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for inmates and the wider community.
- Maintain a secure, fair, and collaborative working environment, with a focus on rehabilitation and positive inmate outcomes.

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and process complex inmate information.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to unplanned events in a fast-paced environment.
- A current and valid driving licence with a willingness to travel within NSW.
