Our client is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and distributor of smart energy-efficient solutions, with deep expertise in LED lighting. They have been at the forefront of the environmental abatement market, with a vision to reduce greenhouse emissions through smart technology, since their inception. They have an understanding and involvement across national carbon abatement energy-efficiency schemes and offer a wide range of technologically superior products across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They are currently experiencing significant growth, this is an exciting time to join the team.
This exciting opportunity looking after the credit control across all business brands, managing the end to end of Accounts Receivable and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working in a friendly and supportive team. You will be provided with full training in their modern offices, this role would suit someone that has the drive to succeed, looking to join a collaborative and driven team.
**Your new role**:
- Managing all aspects of Accounts Receivable with high volume of transactions
- Collection of payments, receipts and allocation
- Review and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Query resolution for accounts and invoice enquiries
- Ensuring customers keep within approved terms and identify risk
- Weekly and monthly reporting and invoice finance reconciliations
- Performance reports for sales
- Accounting tasks as directed by the Financial Controller
**To be successful**:
- An all-rounder with credit control experience and the ability to assist the Financial Controller with additional accounting functions
- Minimum 5+ years accounts receivable/credit officer experience
- Able to build rapport and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, independently and prioritise your time.
- Strong Computer skills including Advanced Excel
- Bachelor qualified in finance/accounting is highly regarded but not required
