**About the role**

The role of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Manufacturing Technician reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing of small batch and prototype production runs are delivered in accordance with quality and planning guidelines and processes.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Manually load SMT PCB’s where required.
- Program and operate pick-and-place, reflow oven and automatic printer processes
- Inspect SMT PCB’s to aligned quality standards
- Prepare and assemble SMT components into sub-assemblies
- Solder sub-assembly components.
- Deliver component corrective actions via rework stations
