**Grants Coordinator opportunity**
- **$91,418 - $103,725 p.a. pro rata plus super depending on experience**:

**About the role**:
Government infrastructure agency seeks an experienced Grants Coordinator to work with the Communications and Engagement team and support the Funds team and community groups through the grants process, engaging with applicants and assisting with the day-to-day administration of funded projects.

**Responsibilities and tasks**:
Reporting directly to the Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of the Fund programs and grants process
- Working closely with applicants, community groups, local councils and government organisations to strengthen partnerships, foster co-operation and ensure funded projects and programs reach conclusion.
- Proactively working with the Communications team and applicants to promote the Fund program, using a range of traditional and social media tools to ensure broad community awareness, engagement, equitable access, and take up.
- Working with the team to ensure relevant information is recorded to information management systems, demonstrating timeliness, attention to detail and accurate records management, with careful attention to understanding privacy requirements.
- Contributing to regular weekly, monthly and annual reporting requirements for Fund program activities.
- Providing a range of effective support functions, including arranging and scheduling meetings, payment and invoice tracking, coordinating papers, organising venues and agendas, taking minutes, following-up actions and other administrative duties.

**Experience and Skills**:
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:

- Excellent organisational skills, able to take direction, demonstrate accountability, and plan and deliver on multiple priorities to set timelines.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain information management systems and follow procedures to guide work and track progress ensuring team and project goals and priorities are achieved.
- Proven ability to negotiate, build sustainable relationships and work proactively with people at all levels to achieve project objectives.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to maintain a professional approach at all times in often demanding and high-pressure situations with a proven ability of working with the community.
- Proven ability to actively and collaboratively contribute to a high-performing team which delivers outstanding results, and to constantly seek ways to improve own contribution.
- Proficiency in effectively using online systems such as correspondence management and Grants Management Systems. Direct experience with Content Manager (CM9) and SmartyGrants preferred.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in Communications, or business administration would be well regarded.
- Knowledge of and experience working in government is highly desirable.
