Our client, a high-profile Government Department, is seeking a talented and driven individual to join their team as an AO7 Principal Program Officer - Program Management works.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of multiple programs crucial to the success of the Housing Strategy. You will be accountable for achieving project outcomes through various key responsibilities, including:

- Developing, maintaining, and disseminating high-quality project plans, reports, briefs, and written correspondence throughout all project phases.
- Managing and delivering capital works projects in a professional, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Providing expert advice on capital infrastructure planning, construction programs, and procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with HCJP requirements and Qld Procurement policy 2023.
- Building and nurturing strategic relationships with internal and external partners to optimize program outcomes and drive innovative housing solutions.
- Providing high-level responses to stakeholders regarding program strategy, performance, and delivery.
- Coordinating the daily operations of major multifaceted programs, including risk management and updates to senior management.
- Supporting and maintaining a workplace safety culture by ensuring adherence to Workplace Health and Safety policies and practices.

**Qualifications**:
While mandatory qualifications are not required, relevant qualifications and experience in residential
**building and construction** and/or
**construction project management** will be highly regarded.
