**The Opportunity**

Cochlear has a newly created opportunity for a **Talent Acquisition Specialist** to our global headquarters on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with internal customers across a broad range of business units to help deliver on their strategic and transactional hiring objectives. This opportunity is likely to be extended/made permanent for the right individual.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle for selected roles across a broad range of business units
- Build effective partnerships internally with hiring managers, the Global People & Culture teams and the Global Talent Acquisition teams.
- Recommend to hiring managers techniques and selection criteria for interviewing, assessing, and evaluating applicants for suitability
- Provide appropriate feedback and advise throughout the interview and selection process to ensure an overall effective hire
- Identify and build relationships with contingency search firms, as well as relevant professional industry groups and associations

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience; including experience in a corporate recruiting role or in an agency/search firm
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability manage complex, time-dependent deliverables and work within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
