Despatch Supervisor

IP Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Despatch Supervisor for our client located in Henderson. This position offers an immediate start for an experienced stores person in a hands-on supervision role with long term opportunities. You will be required to carry out various tasks including but not limited to:

- Provide leadership and focal point for the Warehouse Outward function
- Supervise and assist all picking and packing activities
- Ensure customer requirements and expectations are met daily
- Liaise with the Operations Manager and Inward Supervisor regarding human resources and labour management
- Lead the Warehouse customer service function
- Develop people and processes to improve business effectiveness
- Support the Operations Manager and Outwards Supervisor as necessary to manage the warehousing and Logistics functions

To be considered for this role all applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

- Hold a current high risk forklift ticket
- Have previous stores/warehouse experience
- Be proficient with Microsoft office packages
- Experience with any ERP systems a bonus
- Be a permanent resident of Australia or citizen

While supervision experience would be an advantage it is not a deal breaker. If you have the right attitude and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn it will go a long way.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
