Brisbane, Australia Premier and Cabinet Full time

The Performance Unit supports the Premier and Cabinet and works collaboratively with other agencies to drive delivery of government priorities and improved performance of public services. As a Policy Officer in the Performance Unit, you will use your excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills, and strong professional work ethic to contribute and coordinate whole-of-government performance management, monitoring and reporting, and providing advice to the Premier and Cabinet. Your key responsibilities: - Contribute and coordinate whole-of-government performance management, research and analysis of performance information, and the provision of strategic advice to agencies on improvements to better implement performance management requirements. - Assist in the development and implementation of policies, standards and guidelines regarding the Queensland Government Performance Management Framework. - Prepare and contribute to the preparation of, timely and well researched submissions, briefs and papers on complex issues, including Cabinet submissions. - Provide advice on a range of Cabinet information, including submissions, decisions and briefing papers in relation to implementation. - Consult and negotiate with other areas of the department, government departments and stakeholders on performance and reporting matters.
