**About the role**

You will get exposure to a broad range of equipment, repairs and maintenance, and facilities services across the Goods Not For Resale space at a significant scale, covering the entire Woolworths group of companies in Australia and NZ. The position is within the Procurement Team and reports through to the Portfolio Manager Equipment and Services. In this role, you will balance Sustainability, Value, Operations and best fit approach adhering to Procurement Policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop & execute sourcing strategies (RFx, Negotiation, Selection, Award).
- Contract Management (administration, development, execution, management).
- Identify procurement activity stakeholders and influence them as required to achieve desired outcomes, up to Senior Management / Divisional Head level.
- Support multiple simultaneous projects across Australia and NZ sites.
- Build and maintain momentum and consistency with regards to key stakeholder engagement within Woolworths 360
- Develop, maintain and grow collaborative and constructive working relationships with key stakeholder departments such as Legal, Finance, Property etc
- Develop, implement and manage vendor performance metrics, documents and reporting as part of a Supplier Relationship Management plan (metrics, compliance, continuous improvement plans).
- Anticipate and execute contract-based opportunities.
- Conduct risk analyses and take action as required.
- Collaborate with industry organisations, suppliers and partners to stay on trend with sustainable innovation, technology, and legislative requirements.

**About You**
- We are looking for a strong negotiator & people influencer with the following skills:

- Essential - Minimum 5 years experience in a retail/FMCG/manufacturing environment
- Experience in facilities management categories (including equipment supply, spare parts management, and repairs & maintenance services) highly advantageous
- Membership of a Procurement affiliated body highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of total cost of ownership principles and value levers
- Demonstrated experience as a Category Manager within a large, centralised procurement function.
- Sound appreciation of category management principles and processes, with an understanding of contract law.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across large geographies and multiple projects.
- Proven track record in delivering significant and sustainable EBITDA benefits year on year.
- High level of commercial acumen & strategic thinking
- Self-reliant, proactive, anticipates and takes initiative to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
