Outlook is proud to have been appointed as one of the collection point operators and related operations, as part of the incoming Victoria Container Deposit Scheme (CDS), commencing 1st November 2023, which will see transformation in Victoria’s waste and recycling networks and making a positive difference to the community and environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the start up of this new operation. You will manage and lead in a role that will start out as a project and become pivotal in overseeing growth and development in Outlook’s CDS operations.

- The Territory Manager will initiate, lead and deliver activities to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of the cleaning of designated reverse vending machines at allocated sites and related operations throughout the implementation, go live and post go-live phases of the operations.

This role will require strong stakeholder management and engagement, including building and fostering relationships with network operators, vendors and our cleaning services team members who will be on the road every day.

- This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the delivery of operational performance across all territories including design of process and procedure frameworks, roster management, quality assurance & training, fleet management, contract compliance and financial management will all be pivotal to this role as will ensuring that we continue to focus on and achieve our purpose in our day-to-day activities. Working to high standards, tight deadlines and compliance frameworks are essential.

You possess a strong drive and extensive expertise as a leader in both people and operations. Your passion and aspiration to contribute to this startup opportunity, creating transformative change and providing an exceptional container deposit scheme experience for the citizens of Victoria.

You will bring your combined professional experiences and critical knowledge to the role, including a sound understanding of the management of mobile service delivery teams, knowledge of commercial cleaning and project management skills with a clear understanding of being operational by 1 November 2023.

Your active involvement will encompass a practical approach, requiring engagement in all dimensions of the startup prerequisites. This will entail responsibilities such as spearheading recruitment and training efforts, while benefiting from the assistance of internal business partners. Your pivotal role will extend to the establishment of workplace health and safety policies and protocols, oversight of inductions, and adept management of trades and contractors as site locations are established
