This is an important role supporting the provision of a responsive, safe and welcoming space for students and staff to seek initial health care for advice, triage and referral to appropriate services.

**Key responsibilities**
- Deliver nursing and wellbeing services to day and boarding students and staff across ELC-12
- Implementing Occupational Health and Safety within the School
- Providing staff training for all mandatory health policies
- Maintaining administrative records within Student Services
- Supporting First Aid requirements for sporting and camping excursions
- Registered Nursing qualifications (APHRA Registered);
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable;
- Current CPR and Basic/Advanced Life Support and/or HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid qualifications;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
- Two years Registered Nurse Experience; experience working in a school or community setting is highly desirable;
- A positive and collaborative approach in the workplace, including a friendly, warm and caring demeanour;
- The ability to work as part of a team, share information and to give and receive feedback with tact and diplomacy;
- The ability to take accountability for own workload;
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.

This role is classified under the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020 as Nursing services grade 2 and attracts an award Level 7.1 salary of $44.73 p/h for casual work.
