**In this role you will**:

- Lead and participate in project teams to deliver key projects within agreed timeframes.
- Provide specialist advice and recommendations that support the ongoing design, development, implementation and review of a range of Memorandum of Understanding, other agreements or partnership arrangements and related strategic frameworks.
- Conduct research and analysis autonomously and embed an evidence-based and data-driven analytical approach to inform partnership development, including identifying related policy and legislative frameworks.
- Generate correspondence, briefings and submissions for various audiences regarding the development, progress and delivery of key PSEG projects arising issues and core business as directed.
- Provide high level advice to executive and senior management in relation to emerging and significant strategic partnership and engagement issues, risks options and initiatives.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, with the goal of ensuring strategic objectives translate to improved frontline service delivery and regular progress updates are maintained.
- Negotiate with other government agencies and key stakeholders as required to ensure the achievement organisational objectives.
- Design and embed project controls including evaluation and review mechanisms.
- Model professional and ethical behaviour and mentor and coach more junior staff.

**The essential requirements for this role are**:

- Demonstrated understanding of partnership and stakeholder engagement agreements, memorandums of understanding, engagement strategies and plans, and how these arrangements are used to deliver human services in a highly regulated public sector organisation.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement at the senior levels of a public sector, not-for-profit or non-government organisation, preferably in the human services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to align group work to organisational objectives and consider wider organisational context when making decisions and the development, implementation, and integration of partnerships.
- Highly developed consultative, communication, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills appropriate to an environment of reform, change and evolution.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and be accountable for high-quality reports, research, reviews, and the analysis of information to identify issues and problem solve to assist decision-making which is ethical and defendable.
- Positive workplace behaviours with the ability to embrace change and display optimism in the face of complexity and ambiguity.
- Ability to pursue opportunities for growth and model professional and ethical behaviour, able to self-manage, set priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.

Formal qualifications or studies in Communications, Law, Justice, or similar relevant field would be highly regarded.
Travel may be a requirement for this position as this position may be required to work at different sites.
