**Aged Care Assistant(PCA)/ Domestic Assistant**

Southern Support Family is focused on delivering home care, home maintenance and allied health services. We also cater for many clients with diverse needs such as the home care package recipients, NDIS participates and those who are culturally & linguistically diverse and those in care facilities.

We are currently seeking an Aged Care Assistant/Domestic Assistant for an immediate start in **Camden Park, NSW.**

Duties may include:

- Providing showering assistance
- Meal preparation (abiding by strict food handling safety guidelines)
- Ensure health and safety laws are adhered to at all times.
- Providing companionship
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client
- Domestic support and household tasks
- Cleaning duties, may include but not limited to: (Cleaning floors, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing laundry, doing dishes, ironing clothes and changing bed sheets/towels, make sure the house is cleaned/maintained to a high standard)
- Providing excellent customer service.

About you:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Reliable, flexible and able to commit to a variety of shifts.
- **Certificate III in individual support** or higher is preferred.
- Applicants must have a **valid police clearance.**:

- Having Drivers License will be an added advantage.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.56 - $41.19 per hour

Schedule:

- On call

It is highly recommended to have at least two doses of the Covid19 vaccine.
