Faculty Simulation Educator

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Faculty of Health Science & Community Studies at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong professional links and partnerships within the health and community services sector.
The Holmesglen Simulation Centre is a world class facility providing innovative simulation-based educational experiences for our students. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and engaged health professional with extensive simulation experience, to provide guidance on teaching, learning and assessment activities related to simulation and support the professional development of staff on simulation-based education methods.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with faculty staff to ensure simulation standards and best practices are implemented in courses, and assist with the daily operations of the Holmesglen Simulation Centre.
**Salary**: $99,593 - $108,490 per annum pro rata plus 10.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
**Time Fraction**:Full time, 1.0 FTE
**Location**: Moorabbin campus.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment with a 6 month qualifying period.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Degree in the health professions field, community services or similar field, preferably a Master’s Degree (or working towards).
- Substantial clinical and teaching experience.
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Extensive experience in an educational environment, including a sound background in teaching/lecturing, preferably in a higher education sector.
- A student-centred focus and a commitment to educational excellence.
